Training The Next Generation
Dr. Kohut truly believes it is important that tomorrow’s dentists are trained to an exceptionally high standard not only in dentistry but also in relationship building and patient care. He currently teaches dental students attending the North Carolina School of Dentistry where he serves on the faculty.
Dental Care For Your Whole Family
Good dental care is vital to our overall health and wellbeing, which is why it’s important that children learn to keep good dental hygiene habits and not develop a phobia of the dentist. Dr. Kohut has children of his own and knows only too well how difficult it is to achieve this, even as a dentist himself. That’s why he has developed Northchase with busy families in mind.
People are busy and dental appointments can easily be forgotten, especially if you’re not experiencing any pain. That’s why Northchase makes it easier to schedule and keep appointments by opening at weekends and later on weekdays. This makes it easier to bring your children to the clinic without having to miss and school time.
Dr. Kohut has a reputation as being extremely friendly and approachable and enjoys positive and trusting relationships with patients of all ages. This trust is so important for providing personal care and service to the families of Wilmington, North Carolina.
He also specializes in working with nervous patients who may not have visited a dentist in a long time, providing a calm, non-judgemental, and reassuring environment for them to be in.
A Part Of The Community
Dr. Kohut lives in Wilmington his wife Jennifer and their three children. The urge to take care of people must be in the genes as their daughter, Jenson, is currently studying to become a nurse. They also have their hands very full with two school-age boys, a cat, and two dogs.
Their Golden Retriever, “Doc”, is undergoing extensive training to be an office dog, but his last performance review showed he had a long way to go. He’s working on it!
